Itinerary

A very early rise today and together with your guide you will transfer by private vehicle south-West to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will stop over at the Uganda Equator for some photo shoots and a visit to the Craft Village. You will then head towards the western parts of Uganda to the town of Mbarara which has over time earned itself the nickname of the land of milk and honey. While there, we shall have our lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. Then we shall go the Museum where we shall have the privilege to walk the cultural path through the history of the Western people.

We shall get enriching insights into the culture of the natives which will equip you with a body of knowledge and understanding of the behaviors and cultural norms and beliefs in the area. Then we proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest where we shall have dinner and overnight

Wake Up relatively early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla trekking. Before 8:00 am, with your packed lunch, report to the Park Headquarters for briefing before being divided into your respective groups. The guides will then take you through the bush, pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. If you are one to seek for adventure and enjoy a wild nature walk, this is it; one of your most unforgettable experiences.

It will be such an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rain forest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas.

Enjoy your breakfast with a deep satisfaction of knowing that after, you are in for an epic journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enter the park through the Ishasha sector where you will have a game drive en-route. You will encounter a number of exciting and unique animals including the famous tree climbing lions.

Upon reaching Queen Elizabeth, check into your accommodation, have lunch and go for a guided and educative or enlightening tour of the Katwe Salt Lake and activities that take place there. On your visit, you will see how the salt is mined, tour the factory, fishing village and the cattle keeping communities

Start your day with a cup of coffee and then embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks via the channel track where visitors may encounter elephants, buffaloes, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax while waiting or your lunch. After lunch, head for a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel.

While there, you will be delighted to meet with a number of wild game such as Hippos, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also gives visitors and bird watchers a chance to see a number of unique and spectacular birds hovering or relaxing among trees in their habitats.

Early, at the break of day, after breakfast, you will set off for Kampala the Fort Portal route. Your first stop point will be in Fort portal for lunch. Fort Portal is a land of Crater lakes, hills, and irresistible sceneries, with the giant Rwenzori Mountains evidently towering and punctuating the skyline’s background. They are also called the Mountains of the moon. After having your lunch, you will later on proceed to Entebbe arriving in the evening to catch an evening flight.
