Day 1
Day 1: JRO –Zanzibar

On arrival to Zanzibar you will meet and greet with Equatorial Wild Safaris staffs at Zanzibar airport then transfer to The Dhow Club (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury).

Day 2
Day 2 : Zanzibar Beach Relaxation

Spend day at leisure on the beaches of the East Coast or at the resort’s swimming pool. Scuba diving or diving course for beginners are available (at an additional cost) at most of the beach resorts in Zanzibar. All meals and overnight at The Dhow Club (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury).

Day 3
Day 3:Rest and Relax in Zanzibar

Relaxation day at your hotel beach. All meals and overnight at The Dhow Club (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury). All meals and overnight at The Dhow Club (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury).

Day 4
Day 4: Dolphin trip

At 8:30 south coast dolphin tour a trip to dolphin watching tour, a day trip to kizimkazi, wonderful you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle – nose dolphins playing off Kizimkazi beach & give you chance to experience special natural message in the Indian ocean, at 2:30pm driving to jozani forest tour for red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest the living spieces of fish under neath.Visit Zala Park to learn on how local people become creative to protect the natural living reptiles.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at The Dhow Club (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury).

Day 5
Day 5:Relaxation in Zanzibar

Relaxation day at your hotel beach. All meals and overnight at The Dhow Club120 (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury).

Day 6
Day 6: Zanzibar Spice tour and Jozani Forest

After breakfast at your hotel then you will be collected with a guide from Equatorial Wild Safaris with a car and do the Jazani forest tour. Jozani is the only remaining natural forest on Ungunja Island. Covering an area of 10 sq km it consists of high forest, swamp forest and evergreen forest.

It provides an important refuge for the remaining Ungula fauna such as the rare Red Colobus Monkeys, small Zanzibar Leopard and two antelope species – the Zanzibar Duicker and Sunni. After that we will take you to the spice tour where we guaranteed to sharpen your senses.
Drive through the countryside to visit spice plantations – with an opportunity to pick, smell and savour exotic fruits and spices. Evening drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at The Dhow Club (Budget), or Zanzibar Retreat Hotel (Mid Rage) or The Resident Hotel (Luxury).

Day 7
Day 7: Zanzibar Stone town –Dar es Salaam -Home

Depending on your flight time you will be transferred from the hotel to stone town then do the prison Island tour . After lunch transfer to Zanzibar airstrip to catch your flight to Dar es salaam Airport ready to catch your flight back home.

Money: Most foreign currency, also Euro’s and US dollars are accepted and changeable at change offices and banks against TZS, credit cards are not accepted everywhere and have usual …… (Bad?) Change rates. The bigger cities have in the contrary some cash machines where you can cash money. Please note to take at least per person 1 billet of USD 50 for buying your visa at arrival in Tanzania

Electricity: The electricity in Tanzania is 230 V. It could happen that is falls out. Regarding electricity we advise to take a universal adapter (most …… are so called three pins). Note that our safari car has a….. So that you can charge your batteries during safari.

Shopping: The touristic locations and hotels/lodges sell a large collection of souvenirs, jewels, drinks; do not be afraid to negotiate about the price. (Your driver/chauffeur will help you to get the best price)

Languages: Tanzanian people speak English, but a few Swahili words will be appreciated. Most people in the touristic industry speak mostly another foreign language.

Health: When arriving in Tanzania, you need to have a so called vaccination book. We advise to send you for Hepatitis A, DTP, Yellow fever, (for Zanzibar obliged) and also a stamp.” Cholera not indicated” (necessary) to advice to protect you against malaria, more information with your Doctor of Travel clinic.

Photography: While being on safari, take sufficient film, cards, batteries etc. With you. Protect your camera against dust and extreme heat. In our 4 wheel drives and in your hotel/lodge are possibilities to charge your batteries. When you want to film of photograph the local people, please ask before. It is much appreciated.
