Depart Kampala very early in the morning with the driver and guide of Equatorial wild Safaris. You will depart by road to Chobe Lodge Murchison Falls National Park. This scenic drive will take approximately 7 hours.
Abiding the park rules, it would be advisable to depart Entebbe or Kampala between 7am-10am arriving at Chobe lodge main entrance gate before 7pm-visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en-route and lunch at the sanctuary.
Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch located in Nakasongola district is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The Rhino re-introduction project is a project of Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority.
It is conveniently located 176km (100 miles) north of Kampala on the Gulu highway towards/from Murchison Falls (branch off at Nakitoma trading centre). Presently the sanctuary is home to fifteen (15) southern white rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists; for rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks and relaxation. Your host lodge Chobe Safari Lodge is located in Murchison Falls National Park, North-Western Uganda, overlooking the Victoria Nile.

Breakfast can be taken beforehand at 6.30am followed by morning game drive which starts at 7am. As an unexplored area of the national park, and with new game tracks having recently developed, exploring game and doing on Safari is a unique experience at through wankwar/tangi gate to the northern bank of the river Nile at Paraa lodge arriving on time for your hot lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing by the poolside or join your driver/guide for an evening game drive in search of big cats around the Nile delta.

Up early for a morning game drive your drive will take you across to Lake Albert and the Nile Delta where you are most likely to see a lot of animals. Murchison Falls National Park is well cited for the best wildlife viewing – giraffe, buffalo, lion, elephant, Nile crocodile, hippo, oribi, bush buck, water buck. Return to the lodge for lunch and the chance to relax before taking a boat trip in the afternoon which takes around 3 hours.
This boat trip along the Nile is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison Falls National Park since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals. Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with eagles, brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the river banks. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.
Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (B,L,D)
Early breakfast and cross the Nile en route to Entebbe airport enjoy a sightseeing visit to the top of the falls with a hot lunch break as your safari driver/ guide transfers you in due time to the Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight. Please note that check-in for international flights should be done 3 hours prior to departure of the flight. In the departure hall (after check-in) you will find a small restaurant, a sitting area and several duty-free shops for your convenience.
