2 Days Gorilla Tracking Safari – Rwanda

Mountain gorilla trekking safaris in Volcanoes National Park Rwanda is a fully-escorted and guided tour through Rwanda features lands of rolling hills, tranquil lakes, rain forests and jungles, gorillas and other primates, and glorious butterflies outnumbered only by the plentiful birds. We make route for Dian Fossey’s stunning Parc National des Volcanoes, where we embark on a trek to encounter the mighty mountain gorilla and follow one of the eight gorilla families.

Day 1
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park

In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel for a transfer to Kinigi in Ruhengeri. To many of our guests, a visit to Iby’wachu Village is so rewarding.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorillas view Hotel for High-end or Le bamboo Lodge for Mid-range or Muhabura Hotel for Budget-end. Meal plan: Full board

Day 2
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and transfer back to Kigali

In the morning assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing from the park warden along with your trekking gear, drinking water and packed lunch. Later proceed to the forest to track the gorillas, an activity that will take you 1-8 hours depending on the movement of the apes in their natural wild.
After meeting and staying in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of an hour, the guide will transfer you back to Kigali for your scheduled flight.
