The spectacular mountain Elgon is said to have one of the largest surface areas of any extinct volcano in the world and is peppered with cliffs, caves, gorges and water falls. The Sipi falls in the foot hills of the mountains must be the most beautiful and romantic waterfall in the country.

Day1
You will arrive at the Entebbe International Airport where you will be welcomed by your Equatorial Wild Safaris guide. You will then travel through Kampala as you transfer to the mountain Elgon area which is in the eastern part of the country. Get to see Uganda’s green undulating countryside. Lunch en route.

Dinner and overnight (Budget, medium and Luxury accommodation available)

Day 2
After breakfast, you will have a full day exploration of this dramatic countryside. You will visit the Forest Exploration Center at Kapkwai in the Chebonet valley and take the mountain Bamboo Trail traversing a 7km loop across the river and to the southern rim of the gorge. Picnic lunch.

Dinner and overnight (Budget, medium and Luxury accommodation available)

Day 3
After breakfast, you will take a full day on the Sasa Trail to see the dramatic landscapes from the high altitude heath and moorland.

Lunch and travel back through Kampala arriving at the Entebbe International Airport just in time for your departure flight.

Rates will include:
Airport transfers, itinerary meals and accommodation, transportation, water, coffee or tea while on safari, park entrance fees, services of an English speaking driver/guide, boat trips, game drives, other itinerary activities and any government taxies/levies.

Rates will exclude:
Air fare, Bar Bills, Phone calls, Personal insurance, Laundry and other services of personal nature and driver’s/guide’s tips.
