Introduction to Akagera Landscape, History, Overview: Visit to Interpretation- & Education-Center;
Game-Drive (incl. short walks): scenic spots and features / items of ecological interest (signs, spoors, behavioral patterns etc.);
Night-Drive, highlighting interesting nocturnal species and different patterns prevailing at night.

Early morning walk (sun riser): nature interpretation along a walk to a natural salt-lick (woodland, wetland, grassland).
Boat-Ride on Lake Mburo, birding & aquatic ecology (incl. visit to Fishing Village if wanted; alternatively a visit to a ranch or home of a pastoral family in park’s vicinity could be arranged).
Game drive (incl. short walks) to different area & nature interpretation

Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP)
Introduction to Albertine Rift Landscape; Geological, Natural & Human History on the way to Baboon Cliff Panoramic View Point.

Early morning nature drive: tracking lions & hyenas (predator x prey x human relations & predator viability issues); visit to Lake George area & presentation of extremes over last half century, highlighting human x wildlife (terrestrial, aquatic, amphibic) interactions.
Visit to traditional salt mining, incl. flamingo lake. Game drive to Pelican Point.
Night drive: tracking large predators at night (hyenas, leopard & lions) & observation & interpretation of other nocturnal wildlife.

Boat-ride on Kazinga Channel; Aquatic Ecology of Western Rift

Day 6

Crater Game drive & Paleontology of Great Rift; concluded by visit to Lake Kikorongo.
Visit to Maramagambo Forest; Introduction to Lowland tropical forest & its ecology (incl. visit to bat-snake cave); concluded by early night drive.
