Uganda is ranked world producer of coffee with 500,000 Uganda peasant families producing an estimated 2m bags annually fetching Uganda estimated USD 600m; at the heart of USD 70bn world industry. Explore your imagination by rafting in the White Nile. The Nile has everything from Grade 5 rapids to leisurely flat sections and for those not keen to flip there’s a safety raft that can take you down the easier sections. It’s safe, incredible, exciting, and amazing. The spectacular mountain Elgon is said to have one of the largest surface areas of any extinct volcano in the world and is peppered with cliffs, caves, gorges and water falls. The Sipi falls in the foot hills of the mountains must be the most beautiful and romantic waterfall in the country.
Day 1- Coffee Safari
Equatorial Wild Safaris together with 1000 Cups Coffee House and Bulansuku farm estates Ltd will take you through a fascinating one day Coffee Safari which will track back your favorite Coffee bean to the heartland of its source in a country coffee farm.

8:30-9:30am Judge your Coffee
Coffee-tasting and evaluation at Uganda Coffee Development Authority.
9:15-9:35am Grading & Sorting
Visit to a coffee grading & processing plant.
9:35-10:15am Roast own Coffee
Visit to a Coffee Roastry.
10:30-12:30pm Research
Listen to the coffee researcher- visit Kituza Coffee Research Station.
12:30-12:45pm Scenic Country drive
To Bulansuku farm Estates, Mukono District.

At the farm:
Participate in activities including coffee planting, coffee picking, pulping, drying. Village farm trail including visit to farming communities. biking, coffee bush and forest walks, bird watching, farm games and much more.
4:00-5:00pm- One for the road Coffee break
Evening drive to Jinja where you will spend the night.

Day 2- White water Rafting
After breakfast, you will visit the source of the river Nile and take a walk to the base of the falls and relax, taking a dip in the cool water of the falls. You will then be introduced to the most thrilling white water rafting at different stages for the rest of the day. The white water rafting begins at the Source of the Nile at 0930hr with a comprehensive briefing and the fitting of lifejackets and helmets. The rafting is done on an 18km stretch of the Nile River. The first few rapids are low grade (1,2) and give you a sense of confidence. As the river meanders through beautiful scenery, the rafts are guided into the mighty challenges of the best “grade 5” rapids on the Nile. Eight major rapids are rafted plus lower graded runs to maximize the adrenaline rush of this adventure. You will have a lunch break for a mouth watering buffet lunch. Late evening drive on to the Sipi falls in mountain Elgon area.

Day 3- Sipi Falls/ Mountain Elgon
After breakfast, get to see the Sipi Falls in the foot hills of Mountain Elgon, the most beautiful and romantic waterfall in the Country. You will then take a couple of hours on the Sasa Trail to see the dramatic landscapes from the high altitude heath and moorland.
Rates will include:
Coffee Safari details, Rafting and entrance fees, the rafting gear, transportation, accommodation and dinner, barbeque evening meal after rafting, buffet of salads on one of the Islands on the Falls, services of an English speaking marine guide and government taxes/levies.
